Why was it, Sakura Miyuni wondered, that your suitcase always seemed to take longer to be unloaded when you were in a hurry to get out of the airport? It was her first time in London, and she was excited. She was here for a reason she wouldn't confess to her friends back home in Tokyo, because they'd think she was crazy. However, that hadn't stopped her from coming. This weekend, London would be playing host to hundreds of cosplayers from around the world, and she, Sakura Miyuni, was going to be part of it. So was Kasumi Aoki, a girl she'd met over the internet as a result of their shared passion for dressing up in costume.

Part 1 Keren, 2110
Turning off the car engine, Keren Perry fastened her coat and wound a long, hand-knitted scarf around her neck. It had taken her months to make it, months of being ridiculed by her colleagues for spending her lunch hour knitting, but the soft white wool was much warmer than anything else she owned. She was the one laughing now, as they shivered through the cold English winter. Mid-January, there was ankle-deep snow on the ground, and more was falling, but she'd ventured out regardless, responding to a phone call from her dad. Now she'd arrived, though, she was reluctant to step out of the warmth of the car. Pul

She knew why she was hurting inside, she was lonely. Serena had Darian, Mina had Lita. Amy had her studies, which seemed to be enough for her. She was lonely, and being lonely in a crowd was the worst place to be.
"But she knows, from the smiles and the look in their eyes, everyone's got a theory about the bitter one."
That line brought a wry smile to her face. She was feeling bitter, and trying her hardest to hide
"He's got a reputation for sleeping with anything that has a pulse. Male or female, it really doesn't matter. Why do I have to tutor him? Not that he'll be interested - he probably won't even turn up." Zexion fumed quietly to himself as he walked along the corridor to the library. He was on his way to meet Demyx, a first year student at Twilight University. As Professor Ansem's most senior postgraduate student, Zexion had been assigned the job of tutoring him. Ten weeks into term, even Zexion had heard about Demyx's reputation. Scanning the rows of tables, Zexion tried to find an empty space. At this time of day, that was easier said

A cruel laugh filled the air as Ansem's keyblade swung towards the cornered group. One member, a tall, busty brunette, stepped forward, a determined look in her dark eyes.
"Tifa, no!"
Aerith Gainsborough's scream was the last thing Tifa Lockhart heard as the keyblade cut cleanly through her body. She fell to the floor, her shape changing from human to that of a Shadow Heartless, which was obliterated with a second stroke from the keyblade.
"Tifa, you will be avenged, I swear it." The normally silent Cloud Strife uttered these words as he raised the weapon known as the Buster Sword.

It's been a long time since I was last on here - or ff.net/fictionpress.com for that matter. Real life caught up with me for a while, and I simply didn't have the time to write much, or publish everything. But never fear, my overactive imagination has been working just as hard as ever, and now I've got the job and the house sorted, I should be able to sit down and write again. I've got a list of things a mile long that I want to write, so keep your eyes open because Kylara Kitsune is back!
